Literary Lit Book Club was founded in June 2018 as an empowerment book club that bridges literary works of art with communal fellowship. Literary Lit Book Club is an organization committed to helping all individuals improve the quality of their lives and strengthen their community through the exposure of literature, networking and supportive community building. 

We, Literary Lit Book Club,  are a dedicated group of individuals whose mission is to advance the opportunities of all members through the platform of literature, conversation and acting on that exposure to literary texts with the commitment to community outreach. Our community service initiatives include giving grants/donations to schools and other community establishments.

Literary Lit Book Club is launching our First Annual Book Scholarship Fund with a mission to provide a book scholarship to college-bound  seniors.  We are seeking African-American or of  African and/or of Afro-Caribbean-descent high school seniors to apply for our scholarship. This year’s book scholarship will be awarded to the deserving recipient in the amount of  $500. Enclosed is a copy of the application form. Feel free to make additional copies and distribute to students who meet the criteria. Please encourage all eligible African-American or of  African and/or of Afro-Caribbean-descent  seniors to apply for this scholarship.
